Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions below apply to all coaching and other offerings provided by Free Folk Works (“the Coach”), to any individual or organization (“the Client”) and constitute the contract for the offerings to be provided by Free Folk Works for the Client. The term ‘coaching’ as here used covers life coaching, personal coaching, personal development, relationship coaching, and business coaching for Clients and where applicable includes mentoring or training provided for Clients, Coaches, or others, or moral and spiritual counseling provided by Clergy.
In the spirit of good practice, when you are applying for coaching from us, we ask you to confirm that you have read and agreed to each statement below and that you wish to proceed.
Coaching is a collaborative process with an ongoing relationship between the Client and the Coach. The coaching experience supports the Client in establishing new behaviors. The coaching relationship is strengths based, forward looking, and collaborative. The coaching agenda is developed and implemented in partnership between the Client and Coach. The role of the Coach is to help the Client progress toward achieving a goal.
- The Client and Coach agree to engage fully in the coaching experience.
- The Client and Coach agree to speak truthfully, act reciprocally, and impose no costs upon one another.
- The Client recognizes that coaching is not therapy.
- The Client recognizes that no fee is charged and no refund is offered for coaching sessions.
- The Client agrees to complete an intake assessment prior to the first coaching session.
Confidentiality
The Coach agrees to keep all conversations and information with the Client private and confidential, as allowable by law.
Reciprocity
The Client agrees to give the Coach reciprocity upon delivery of the coaching session (i.e., gift for gift). Reciprocity may take the form of cash or other gift to be agreed upon by the Client and Coach prior to the first coaching session.
Coaching Commitment
By entering into this relationship, the Client and Coach acknowledge that the Client desires to make a behavioral change or some type of improvement in his life. Behavioral change often takes time to implement and sustain. The pace of change is uncertain and varies amongst individuals. As such, the Client and Coach agree to a minimum of a three-month relationship.
Coaching Session Procedures
Coaching sessions occur through Telegram video conference.
- The Coach and Client agree to adhere to established appointment times.
- The Coach and Client agree to begin and finish all appointments on time. If the Client is more than 10 minutes late to an appointment, the Coach may assume the session is cancelled and the Client will be responsible for reimbursing the Coach for the missed appointment. If the Coach is more than 10 minutes late to an appointment, the Client may assume that the session is cancelled and reschedule the appointment within seven days, without a penalty.
- The Client agrees to reschedule an appointment at least 48 hours in advance without a penalty. Any changes within 48 hours are subject to additional reciprocity and approval by the Coach.
